come to ruin" (Esther 6:13)
The book of Esther tells of the circumstances that were essential to the survival of God's people in Persia. It is a demonstration of God's intervention over our lives. In this book, four key people are mentioned, namely: Esther, Mordecai, King Xerxes 1 and Haman.
A time came in the history of the Jews when Haman was furious with Mordecai and the entire Jewish populace. He planned to have them killed. This plan was so serious to the extent of becoming a law of the Medes and Persians. In the midst of this evil pursuit to exterminate the Jews, God was watching. He revealed to King through his night time reading of historical documents that Mordecai had once saved his life, and the King realised he had never thanked Mordecai. The King had no option than to honour Mordecai. The great honour then given to honour Mordecai ruined Haman's plan to hang him on the gallows. God had woven an effective counter strategy against which Haman's plan could not stand. Hence, Haman's advisers made the prophetic statement in Esther 6 vs 13.
Friend, I like to remind you that as a Christian, you are of Jewish origin. And because of this reason, you are not only unbeatable, you are undestructible. You are what God says that you are and not what 'Human' says that you are.
It does not matter how strategic the enemy's plan against you may be. Whatever that stands against you must fall and whatever that falls against you must crumble. You are of the seed of demonstration of God's glory. You are God's image. You are of the seed of Abraham.
Failure, ruin, decay and defeat are not for you. Sorrow and untimely death are not your portion. No face on earth can overthrow you. Every obstacle and restraint on your way are hereby pronounced a stepping stone and a ladder for that success of your life.
Because God is in control of history, He is never frustrated by any turn of events or action of man. He is able to deliver us from the evil of this world, sin or death. Because we are of the seed of the Jews, when we seem to be outnumbered, when we seem powerless and hopeless, look through the eye of faith and see the El-Shaddai.
Are you sick?, are you without the fruit of the womb?, tried, hopeless and helpless? Does it seem that your night has come? Are you oppressed at home, in the office or at school? There is hope for you. God is the pillar that holds the whole universe. He is by your side. Not even an intercontinental ballistic missile or the most powerful war machine can stand him.
